Oakhurst Garden Centre Fundraiser Event

As part of Cockermouth Chamber of Trade’s Charity Week Oakhurst Garden Centre is holding a special event tomorrow, Friday 21st July, to raise money for CAFS and West Lakes Squirrel Initiative.

As part of this day there will Afternoon Teas and Cockermouth Ukuleles between 2pm and 4pm, and from 6pm until 9pm there will be live music with nibbles by Wild Zucchinis (I believe!!). And doesn’t it look pretty? It’s such a stunning setting anyway, but we’ve provided some Cumbrian flowers for the tables and it’s all looking extremely magical. This garden is a haven for red squirrels and so many birds. The river Cocker is just down there … it’s beautiful!
