Our seasonal Cumbrian flowers are available for weddings throughout Cumbria from March to October, with limited availability in the winter months. We delight in colour, texture and scent, taking inspiration from our flower fields and the cumbrian countryside. We champion local, seasonal flowers and sustainable floristry.

Unique Approach
We have a unique approach to weddings; busy in our fields and polytunnels our time is very limited so we have a simple approach to wedding flowers with a list of options that we create in your preferred colour scheme. Whilst we simplify the process we do not compromise beauty!
Our floristry focusses on what is best in the field for your special day, with a wide variety of flowers and foliage, grasses and seedpods giving our arrangements a naturalistic style.
Our Wedding Style Guide
We publish an annual Wedding Style Book that illustrates our wedding flowers and explains in full our approach. Please read this! It is a free download. We recommend that you look at this, the information on this page (scroll down for more!) and on the booking page for 2025 prices and 2025 and 2026 availability.

Colour and Style
Working with the seasons, we work to three broad colour schemes: whites, brights and pastels. More specific colour preferences can be accommodated, if possible, with the understanding that this can limit the varieties of flowers we can pick for your wedding. Our bouquets have either a compact, country garden style or are wilder in form. We don’t promise specific flowers, instead relying on what is available here on our fields or from other British growers if necessary. For environmental and ethical reasons we do not use imported flowers. You can read more about our sustainability focus on our sustainability page
Our Instagram posts should give you an idea of what flowers throughout the seasons, although we are at the mercy of the Cumbrian weather so it does vary a lot from year to year!
DIY Weddings!
Our DIY Flower Buckets are for couples who want to take on the wedding and reception venue decoration themselves – or delegate to family! These are very popular with the couples at the wedding barns in our area, but also those getting married in marquees, in gardens, village halls and country hotels.
Most often our couples choose to arrange their venue flowers and we create their personal flowers for them, but some want to unleash their inner florist and do it all! We now have a range of DIY Bucket options so that you can choose buckets with the right sort of stems for your designs. We’ve done this to ensure we select the best flowers for your purposes.
In our Wedding Style Book we outline the number of stems in each type of bucket, which will have been cut and conditioned for you to use, in the colour scheme of your choice. To decide how many buckets you require we suggest you mock-up a vase (using hedge or whatever you can get hold of as you're just looking at how many stems you think you'll need.) and multiply that by the number of vases you're planning to fill.
Sustainable Floristry
We have a growing range of Sustainable Styling for your wedding. From large ceremony arches to pew end posies, our Sustainable Styling options fill your day with our seasonal, sustainable beauty. In line with our environmental values, we practice sustainable floristry; we design and create without floral foam (a micro-plastic nasty), imported flowers (they have a high carbon footprint!), one use plastic or unnecessary excess. For some florists (and customers) this would be unbearably restictive but by using Seasonality and the natural world as our inspiration our creativity enjoys the challenge. We do not compromise on beauty!
