Friday Flowers

It’s Friday! What a week… I’ll share more images of flowers grown, picked and arranged this week some other time because there’s a few things to say:

• Friday Flowers are available from Oakhurst Garden Centre in Cockermouth today (And they have a charity event on today too, raising money for CAFS and the West Lakes Red Squirrel group. Afternoon tea. Evening music and nibbles. Sounds lovely! Just pop along to see the lovely area they’ve made especially in the garden and enjoy!)

• Its Subscription Flowers Week! This is the last one if you’re on a 4 month subscription. We take a break and are back in September and October if you’re on the 6 month option. They’re vibrant summer bunches for the sunny summer we’re hoping for!! (July Subscription pictured!)!

• The boys are off school for the summer now, so as well as growing/maintaining flowers on the field I’m trying to keep them fed, watered, safe and (evidently not brilliantly*) entertained. This means I have reduced capacity for orders. Please email to arrange. I missed several enquiries that came by Instagram messenger this week. Please please please email - my notifications aren’t on and if I don’t respond immediately (often not possible) I loose messages in the feed. I want to provide you with our flowers, so advance notice is also REALLY appreciated!

• Friday Flowers will continue throughout the summer with a couple of exceptions when we’ve got plans! We appreciate your support as ever …

* Today J made dinner (excellent incidentally) - exciting activity no.2 after coming to the field with me at dawn this morning and offering to deadhead sweet peas - and are not “brilliant fun”. (Don’t I know it…. )
