Spring Brights Wedding Flowers
Why wouldn’t you want bright flowers for your wedding day? Well they’re not for everyone, but they are very popular this year. Frankly if ever there was a year for uplifting, vibrant colour, it’s 2024! When Ellie and Kieran reached out to see if I could flower their February wedding I had to explain about the limitations at this time of year, but to be honest it wasn’t such a challenge; Beautiful ranunculus grown down in Cornwall, with stunning tulips from Lincolnshire and the brightest yellow narcissi, tiny muscari, flowering camellia, snd alstromeria, but the Cornish Sweet William from High Croft Nurseries really was the star of the show! As my friend exclaimed “doesn’t it make everything sing?!”
Everything was grown here in the UK, not a lot was Cumbrian, but nothing was imported. It can be done. It can be done! Thank you Ellie and Kieran for entrusting me, the biggest brightest congratulations to you both!
