Terracotta Themed Wedding Flowers

A touch of rust’

I was anxious about this wedding colour scheme because I wasn’t sure what terracotta/rust shades I’d have in May. I thought it more of an autumnal palette, HOWEVER…. how beautiful?!!!

I absolutely love the creamy white with the pops of richer orange and terracotta, and the amelanchier and viburnum foliage really tie them together.

I am extremely grateful to lovely Jo at Smith & Munson who arranged the salmon pompom ranunculus for me. Extraordinary flowers which brought in the terracotta vibe perfectly. The cream tulips are also their’s. Thank you!

My white ranunculus supply was topped from Lincolnshire, where I also got deliciously clovey Scented Stocks. There’s probably a 50/50 mix of our’s/British flowers overall.

I encourage brides to choose as broad a colour scheme as possible if they choose our wedding flowers, and preferably ‘seasonal’ (for example, spring pastels, summer meadow, winter foliage etc!) because it means I have a much broader selection of plants to pick from when I’m cutting. If something isn’t quite ready to cut, there will be something else. But as this beautiful bouquet shows, with support from other British growers we can also produce something beautiful with much more specific colour scheme. And I really enjoyed it too!

(If you have a very specific colour palette preference please email me before you book. I can let you know if it will be possible.)
