Armathwaite Hall Spring Wreath Workshop
Tempted by an artificial wreath for your front door this spring? If you incorporate flowering plants and bulbs into a wreath it is long lasting and sustainable. A living wreath will last a full season and the plants can be potted into containers or the garden for enjoyment over the years to come once you’ve taken it down.
At Armathwaite Hall on Sunday 12th March I will be teaching you how to create a living wreath like this using sustainable floristry mechanics.
I’ll be bringing with me a selection of spring flowering plants - like primula and viola, herb plants, and bulbs like narcissi, muscari and hyacinth, as well as foliages and cut flowers for you to choose from, and all the mechanics to make it. This will be a relaxed opportunity to learn a new skill and celebrate spring.
Hosted by Armathwaite Hall Hotel we will be in a spacious room looking out over the landscaped gardens to Bassenthwaite, and enjoy their Cream Tea as refreshment.
