Chloe’s Peachy Pastel Bouquet
My brilliant friend Sahra at Willow View Farm grew these stunning dahlia and perennial scabious, and what a bouquet they made! They were absolutely perfect colours - peachy pink - and alongside our roses, nigella, daucus, achillea, and sanguisorba made a stunning seasonal, sustainable bouquet.
Substituting our own flowers with those grown by other British growers is one of the ways we can confidently take on wedding bookings. Even in July we can be missing something vital - due to the weather, pests or a lull in successions - especially when the colour scheme is more particular. I have trusted growers who grow high quality, beautiful flowers like my own who can help me out in circumstances like this. Sahra lives near to my parents and her son works over here so we can sort out pick-up/delivery without many additional road miles. Considerations like extra road miles go into our designing. It’s one of the things we considered when we wrote our Sustainability Strategy and got accredited by the Sustainable Wedding Alliance.
Congratulations to Chloe and Jamie on their July marriage at Askham Hall. Thank you so much for the opportunity to make this for you. And huge thanks to Sahra for providing me with such lovely flowers.
