Our wreaths are on the way
All our round wreaths start on our field, where we cut long lengths of willow to curl into a round frame. This forms the base for the foliages and decoration. Each year we cut the willow back to a stump in the winter, and it starts shooting up new stems in the spring. This coppicing is how you get the beautifully long straight branches required for willow craft. It’s very productive, especially after all the rain this year!
We’ve started prepping willow bases as our Christmas wreaths are now ready to pre-order. Our wreath workshops sold out within 24hours of us sending the email at the start of October but we have DIY kits and handmade wreaths available to book now for later next month.
