Signs of Spring

Lying in bed this morning listening to the birds; at 6am there was hearty song from blackbirds, robin, redwing, thrush and wren, then the chaffinches and sparrows. I don’t think the blue tits and goldfinches can have woken up yet. Lucky them. I know this because I put on the birdsong app. ( Search your App Store for the Merlin Bird App) I highly recommend this app to listen back and build your knowledge of who is who… One of the signs of spring is this start to the day. Listening is a meditation in itself.
