For Sharon; the roses opened…

The first of the first flush of roses is a special moment that I look forward to through the winter. The anticipation of their scent adds to this. Like the first strawberries, waiting for them is worth it. Our rose tunnel was a big investment but the value of some things is so much more than their financial worth; the scent of these first roses is so uplifting, so life affirming, so beautiful.

This small bridal bouquet featured our roses, ranunculus, sweet peas and viburnum roseum with Peonies and feverfew from Lincolnshire and Cornwall.
